Life happens… Like the season

Life happens weather we expected it or not with successes and downfall alongside the constantly changing season. There is no doubt about it, but a pandemic is something that nobody can foreseen, even the experts. Although we (people) may have had contributed for making it worse from bad. We all know that the covid19 virus doesn’t walk nor fly as it is and yet it spreads and affects our life weather we like it or not. The whole country is almost in code red.

There was a lot going on in the country (Belgium) for the last 20 days. We have a new federal government coalition 494 days after the national election. We have a new prime minister and minister of health who are doing their best to address the current situation together with the rest of our political theater. We have a new princess 🙂 it was also something new. After 7 years of legal battle an illegitimate daughter of our former king was finally acknowledge by the state. Our hospitals are in full preparation of an inevitable 2nd peak of corona virus patients.

Life at home is nevertheless as usual and normal as always, though we particularly avoid a long shopping spree and other events. The best thing is that I accomplished a lot than normal. Go to work, do household chores, Stitch, sleep eat in between and repeat.

I been a busy rat and I do mind what is happening around me. I thank God for the grace of good health and the sound mind. I wish every one the same.

Autumn is in Town

Hi everyone in blogosphere, I hope everyone is doing well despite getting tired of this Corona pandemic. Its so sad hearing today that there are already more than one million people who has died all over the world. And its beginning to get bad again in some countries around us here in Europe. A lot of people are getting bored and fed up about the restrictions imposed by the government and some are not following the rules anymore. I’m glad I am too busy and have a thousand reason not to complain a lot. Guess what?? I have new books, I read a lot of blogs, and I been watching a lot of floss tube. And I have a new project: Autumn scene

Wips Autumn scene- Lesley Teare

An easy one featuring a homey backdrop and harvest time. It will surely keep my October fly away in no time.

Autumn is literally in town and made a remarkable entry when a storm passed through the coastal area of our land over the weekend. I call it the ugly side of autumn season. I can bear the constantly changing temperature and an occasional drizzle but not when its too windy. I love the colours of nature during Autumn but I hate the weather condition, but they obviously go together.

This one below was my very first Autumn project I finished in 2014, I stitched it for about 4 months If I am not mistaken

.

Autumn Story – Dome

Still on my bucket list for next year, depends on time and budget.

I’m not yet a cross stitch addict, nor I’m an old lady 🙂 I’ll be one surely but you see I have a lot to do yet, so for now I’m just enjoying it.

I hope everyone a joyful days ahead.
